LAKME STRAWBERRY LIP GLOSS REVIEW

Hello everyone!
Today I am reviewing Lakme Lip Gloss in shade Strawberry. It is a kind of so so lip gloss, the thing which I like about this gloss that it has a very nice strawberry flavor :p so, if by mistake your tongue gets on the lips :P it tastes very sweet like strawberries which is a plus point for me :P Anyways, coming to the review

Price :- Rs. 175 for 15 ml

What the company claims :-

Lip-smacking flavor in a hi-shine gloss for your lips.

Packaging :-

It comes in a transparent slant tube packaging with a transparent screw cap. You can easily see the color of product through the tube and the quantity left in it but due the slant tube it is a little bit difficult for me to apply the gloss.

Likes :-

- Cheap and affordable

- Has a nice sheen

- Nice flavor

Dislikes :-

- very bad pigmentation

- Feels really heavy on lips

- Really very sticky

- Packaging is very cheap 

- Ingredient list is not available

- Lack of shades available in this range

- Transfers on face easily spoiling your look

- Not apt for pigmented lips

                                                       OVERALL VERDICT

It is a very mediocre product from Lakme. I really didn't expected that it would be so mediocre like when you apply it on lips it just looks like that you are wearing some transparent gloss which is only shining on your lips and it may transfer on your face , the only thing which I like about this gloss is it is a nice strawberry flavor which you would also like but the quality of this product is very average. And the scariest part is that the ingredient list is not available. You don't know what are you going to apply on your lips like at least ingredient list should have been provided but sadly it is not. And it really feels sticky and heavy on lips too, like you will always have a feeling that you have wore something on your lips which is very irritating. I think most of the people are not going to like it maybe people who like glosses with a transparent shine finish may like it but beauties who are looking for good pigmentation should definitely not purchase this.

RECOMMENDATION :- No, i will definitely not recommend it to anyone and only those people should buy these gloss who like transparent finish on lips.

Will I repurchase it again? :- No, never , I am never going to purchase it again.

STEP BY STEP RECIPE OF NORTH INDIAN FISH CURRY

Hello everyone!

Today, I am posting the recipe of Indian fish curry. In India, there are many types of fish curries changing from one state to another. As in West Bengal the taste of fish curry is different and is also known as SHORSHE MAACH whereas in south India there are different types of curries with different names. But what I am going to post today is a north Indian style fish curry which is really delicious and is mainly cooked in garlic-mustard paste.

prep. time :- 30 min.

cooking time :- 45 min.

total time taken :- 1 hour 15 min

Makes 6 service

Ingredients :-

1 kg tuna/rohu fish

for marination

i) 1 tsp turmeric

ii) 1 tsp red chilli powder

iii) 1 tsp Minced garlic

iv) 1 tsp mustard powder

v) salt to taste

v) Mustard Oil for deep frying

For curry

i) 5 tsp Mustard paste

ii) 2 whole garlic cloves

iii) 2 tomatoes pureed or chopped

iv) 1 tsp turmeric

v) 3 tsp red chilli

vii) Mustard oil for frying

viii) half tsp panchforan 

For panchforan :-

It is a blend of spices for giving an aromatic touch to the dish and is a really important ingredient and is made up of 5 spice which are :-

Mustard (sarso)

Fennel seeds (saunf)

Carom seeds ( ajwain )

Fenugreek seeds (methi)

Nigella/onion seed (mangrail)

Method:-

i) Wash fish thoroughly with water and salt. Salt is very helpful in cleaning impurities from fish easily. Mix all the ingredients of marination together in a bowl and than put the fish into it and let it rest for 15 minutes so that th fish absorbs all the flavors from spices.

ii) Make a paste of garlic and mustard and keep it aside.

iii) Heat mustard oil in a kadhai and put the marinated fish into it. Fry it till it is golden brown.

iv) When the fish is nice golden brown than take out the fish from oil and keep it on a tissue paper. Then the leftover oil in which the fish was fried has the flavors of fish so, we don't have to discard that oil, because that oil contains lots of flavors so we will make the curry in that flavorful oil.

v) Put the panchforan in the kadhai and fry for 2 minutes and than add mustard and garlic paste, pureed tomatoes, turmeric and red chilli powder and fry it till it becomes red and the curry starts g a nice aromatic smell and don't forget to leave the kadhai for even a minute because if you stop frying it for a minute than it will be burned so just keep frying it till it becomes red and when the paste is totally fried than add 2 cups of water in it or according to your measurement if you want it to be a little bit runny than 3 cups of water is fine and if you want it to be of medium consistency then add 2 cups of water and if you want thick gravy than add one and a half cup of water.

vi) And than let it simmer for 5 minutes.

vii) After simmering the curry for 5 minutes add fried fish into it and simmer it for 2 minutes. Don't simmer it for long as it may disturb the fish firmness or it will make the fish too soggy, so, just simmer it for two minutes and turn off the flame.

viii) Put it in a serving bowl and serve hot.

NATURAL REMEDIES FOR DANDRUFF

Hello Everyone!
Today, I am posting about natural cures for dandruff. Dandruff is a problem which mainly occurs during winters but there are also other factors like growth of fungal infection, dry scalp or maybe a complex problem like dermatitis. It is a hair and scalp problem which is very common among people and is a very embarrassing hair condition which one can face. Dandruff is generally caused when scalp sheds dead skin cells. But it can be cleared by using some natural things which are easily available at home.

i) Lemon Wash :- Just squeeze a lemon in a bowl and than apply the lemon juice on the scalp and let it sit for 15 minutes and wash it with a solution of  lemon juice and water and after that wash it with cold water too. Lemon moisturizes and conditions the hair and makes it shiny and soft too while making the scalp healthy and eliminating the dandruff.

ii) Wash your hair regularly :- Wash your hair regularly for eliminating dead cells from you scalp but don't wash it obsessively and with shampoos loaded with chemicals like lauryl sulfate because it can make the scalp dry causing more dandruff.

iii) Yogurt :- Use yogurt to get rid from dandruff as it it is a natural conditioner too. Just wash your hair with water and rinse it. Apply plain yogurt on your scalp and leave it for 10-15 minutes and rinse it with cooled down green tea, it will help eliminate dandruff from skin and will also thoroughly condition the hair.

iv) Fenugreek seeds (methi) :- Grind fenugreek in a very fine texture and make a paste of it with water and apply it on the scalp, let it sit for 20 minutes and wash it with warm water . It improves the color of hair and also eliminates dead cells a.k.a dandruff from hair.

v) Olive Oil :- Olive oil is an excellent conditioner and moisturizer and it also does stops hair fall. It thoroughly moisturizes the scalp so the scalp locks it moisture and doesn't becomes dry which leads to healthy scalp. Just warm olive oil and apply it on the scalp, leave it for overnight and wash it in the morning.

CURE PIMPLES IN JUST 2 DAYS

Hello everyone!
Today I am posting about natural cures for pimple that will reduce your pimple size or probably will cure it in 1 or 2 days. Their are some home remedies which can instantly cure your pimples. Sudden breakouts are a tension for everyone , it has happened with us at some point in our lives, before the day of a grand party or someone's marriage. So here are some natural cures for these obstinate pimples :-

i) Toothpaste :- If white toothpaste is applied on the pimple than it can do wonders. White toothpaste contains zinc which helps in decreasing the size of pimples faster. But be careful while using toothpaste because if you apply it by mistake on the unaffected area than it can burn your skin so be careful, apply it on pimples as night and in the morning your pimples will be gone.

ii) Aspirin :- Majority of medicines which are available in market for pimples contains salicylic acid , this acid is also present in aspirin. Just grind a tablet of aspirin and make a paste of it with water and apply it on the pimples. Pimples and it's marks will be also over this is because the salicylic acid present in the aspirin absorbs oil of the affected part so that the pimple gets healed faster. Sensitive skin type people should not use this remedy because it might not suit them.

iii) Cinnamon and Honey :- It is being said that cinnamon and honey are the most effective natural thing in curing pimples. Just 3 tsp of honey with 1 tsp of cinnamon powder and apply it on the affected area before going to sleep , wash it in the morning with warm water.

iv) Mustard Seeds :- Keep 3 tsp of mustard seeds in a bowl full of water for one night and make a thick paste of the mustard seeds with a little bit of water and apply it on the affected area, keep it for 20 minutes and wash it off with warm water.

v) Ice :- Keeping ice on pimple directly for a long time decreases the size of the pimple.

vi) Fuller's Earth ( multani mitti) :- It is being used since ages by Indian women for curing pimples and increasing their beauty.Make a paste of fuller's earth with rose water and apply it on whole face two times a day it will make your face clean and will also heal pimples. This remedy can also be used by sensitive skin people as it is a very safe and natural remedy.

THALGO BRIGHTENING REGULATING ESSENCE REVIEW

Today, I am reviewing Thalgo Brightening Regulating Essence. I got this cream in My Envy Box November edition. This is a sample of 2 ml but it can be reviewed as i have applied it 4 times on my face, so I can write down my experience with this.

Price :- Rs. 3700 for 30 ml

Ingredients :-

Directions to use :-

Apply morning and evening under smoothing, brightening fluid on the entire face and neck.

What the company claims:-

Packaging :-

It comes in a white colored tube with a silver screw cap ,very handy and easy to use.

Thalgo Brightening essence 30 ml

Likes :-

- Mild fragrance

- Instantly brightens the skin

- Lightens skin tone

- Moisturizes the skin while brightening it

Dislikes :-

- Expensive

- Not available in everywhere

- Doesn't contains SPF

                                                    OVERALL VERDICT

It is a good product from Thalgo , as , we all know Thalgo is a very reputed brand and is well known for their skincare products . It is a transparent gel serum and has a very mild fragrance and as written on the info card it does brightens your skin tone and makes it one tone fair. This product has drawbacks too as it is not available everywhere and it doesn't contains SPF too which is a con for me because if I am paying Rs. 3700 for this product than we all expect some things but it doesn't contains it so maybe buying this product in future for me is a little bit hazy :p. I can't say much about this product because I have used this only 4 times, so I can tell you people only this much about this product. 

RECOMMENDATION :-  Yes, I definitely recommend it.

Will I repurchase it? : Yes, I will repurchase it.
